I provide one-to-one counselling where we work together to address whatever issues you want to bring to the sessions.
As a humanistic interrogative counsellor, I adopt a holistic approach recognising that various approaches share a connectedness. I combine several models – Person-Centred Counselling, Gestalt and Transactional Analysis – depending what best suits your situation. Ultimately our sessions will be based around what feels most helpful to you at the time.
I strongly value your confidentiality and uniqueness as an individual and the most important thing to me that you feel safe and comfortable during our sessions. I recognise this by providing an empathetic and non-judgemental place for us to talk together to help us to understand you, what made you who you are today, and, who you would like to become.
Our work together can be long or short term depending on a range of factors. We can explore together what best suits your needs in the initial assessment and throughout our sessions together.
Initial phone consultation – Where we can discuss what you are looking to achieve from counselling, and you can ask any questions you might have. There is no charge for this and no obligation to make a commitment.
The first session is an assessment and a place for us to start to explore your issues more fully, how we might move forward together and what you would like from the sessions.
All sessions are 50 minutes in length.
I have a limited number of places at a discretionary rate available for students and those on lower incomes.
Zoom and telephone counselling are also available.
